What's better than having a 15 year old cousin to help with the make up!

To say that my kids love their cousins would be a complete understatement! My sister Patty has 3 kids also ~ and it is a very exciting (and very loud) time when the cousins are able to get together. Patty lives about 4 hours away, so we definitely don't get to see them often enough, but when we do, the kids are sure to make up for lost time and have an absolute blast with each other. What is really funny is that while her youngest Briana is the same age as Katie, her other two are already teenagers. It is obvious however that a special bond exists despite the age difference, because the kids have basically paired up into "favorites". For example, Katie and Briana are inseparable. The squeal, laugh, dance, and party it up the whole time they are together. Aidan considers my 13 year old nephew Austin one of his best friends. Austin's name is bound to come up during most conversations with Aidan. When telling Aidan to finish his dinner, he often says that he needs to eat to get strong like "my" Austin, etc. etc. It is VERY cute!!! As for Mylie, she adores my oldest niece Cailley! From the very moment that Mylie sees Cailley, she immediately wants Cailley to hold her and she cuddles right down into her shoulder. During their most recent visit, when I tried to give Mylie a kiss while Cailley was holding her, Mylie reached out and pushed me away. When Cailley is around, she trumps all as far as Mylie is concerned. I am VERY close to my cousins, so I am grateful that my kids are able to experience this amazing relationship with their cousins as well.

Don't worry Bri, I feel the same way when Katie drives! :)
