My niece Briana is visiting us this week and Katie and Bri are having a great time and Cheerleading camp! The girls were SO excited when they found out that they actually got their own pom poms and shirt ~ oh the small joys! :) Katie and Bri have made sure to get in plenty of practice so far, and we have been able to enjoy watching them cheer and show off all of their new skills. They even brought their pom poms to Eric's championship softball game tonight and cheered their little hearts out! It was very cute! (Of course, it might have been a little better if they had chosen to jump and cheer on the ground, not on the very loud metal bleachers. :))
There seems to be a different theme every day at cheer camp, and today was crazy hair day. Here a few pics of the girls getting ready to head off to camp this morning. If you can't tell by the pictures, both girls have 3 ponytails that are all a different color - either pink, purple or glittery gold. Needless to say, my wood floors are definitely decorated in a little gold glitter tonight. :) The pictures don't show the colors very well - because the purple doesn't show up well in Bri's dark hair and they gold blends in to Katie's light hair. It was a little more impressive in person.
