We haven't had a chance to take any "long" vacations this year since Eric is still a contractor and doesn't have vacation time, so we have been taking advantage of our weekends the best we can. One of our big vacations this year was to head down to Great Wolf Lodge - a very fun indoor water park and hotel. We took a trip there last year just a few months after it opened and decided that it was so much fun we definitely wanted to go back. We all had a great time ~ especially since this year Mylie was old enough to enjoy the water (last year she was only 5 weeks old!), and Katie and Aidan are now pretty good swimmers ~ especially with life jackets on. In addition to the water park, they also have a huge video game arcade (I'm SO glad my kids aren't old enough for that yet! :)) and a "Kids Club" where younger kids can make plenty of fun art projects or just hang out and play with the toys. I am guessing that this will be an annual weekend get away for our family!

wow..that looks like so much fun...we need to go there too..I like mini vacations..They are don't tire you out as much..
